Mrs Ann W. Gitonga
Guidance and Counselling Coordinator

Greetings from the department.
The Guidance and Couselling department offers a support system to students and members of staff (where applicable) in various areas of life namely, physically, socially, morally, intellectually and any interrelated spiritual matters.
The services are offered free of charge within the college. The individual and group guidance and couselling sessions are held every Monday at 4.00pm and every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 4.00pm respectively.
The main objective is to:

  1. Enable the students to attain the right attitudes and habits in academics and life.
  2. Enhance skills on conflict resolution.
  3. Enhance academic and work-related achievements.
  4. Reduce college drop-outs and staff turnover.
  5. Reduce bad practices such as drug abuse, alcoholism, crimes, etc.

We look forward to offering the services to as many people as possible with an aim of enriching the lives of the CCI Community.
